Izual hid his wings again, they seemed to just fold up and disappear into his back. There was barely even a mark in his shirt to show they had been there. Tyrael was busy looking at the medals already, trying to read the inscriptions on them or recognise the pictures. He couldn't read the language the inscriptions were in, though. In the end he just tried to figure out what the engraved pictures meant.
He looked like he was trying to complete a mathematical equation that took up five blackboards. It was really rather cute, the way he looked when he was thinking hard. His brow was furrowed in thought and his nose scrunched up from concentration, you'd almost expect him to start rubbing the bridge of his nose like someone who regularly wears glasses that pinch the skin there.
Izual looked over at Jen, wondering if she was just not looking at him or if she was watching Tyrael to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. He was pretty sure it would be the latter. One arm settled on the back of the couch, Izual looked right at home where he was.

Still trying to keep her mind off the sexier than hell half-breed on her couch, she gave a small giggle to Tyrael. "I can't help but think I cheated on winning all of those. I was the only 13-year-old who could do more flips than an olympic gold medalist." She smiled and casually walked around the room a little. Every time her eyes would stay to Izual, her heart would jump. Finally, she gave in and sat down on the couch beside him, wanting so badly to lay her head in his lap. "I was also a baton girl in elementary."

"That may impress him more if he knew what any of those are. But I must say, you must have great skill and dexterity to win so many awards for it." It wasn't often that Izual gave anyone a compliment, which made Tyrael almost sulk as he sat on the bed with a medal in his hand. He wished his brother would compliment him more often, but here he was complimenting this girl after just a few minutes of knowing her.
Izual watched the girl with interest. He was unaware of Tyrael's current mood, but even if he was he would just convince himself Tyrael was just being stupid again. Running a hand through his long hair, Izual ended up with several lengthy locks of pitch black hair hanging down onto his lap.

Jen thought Tyrael was still entertaining himself. She smiled to the compliment and found herself blushing a little, looking down for a moment. "Wow... I... thanks..." she said softly and looked back up at him, feeling her heart jump at his beautiful long hair. It was about the same length as hers in the exact opposite color. But she had never seen a boy with hair past his shoulders. Well... Daddy had his hair long for a while.... but that didn't count.
"I first just made the squad because I was cute and could lift a lot of heavy things, but then they figured out how lgith I was and that I had been taking gymnastics for so long. My first year as a cheerleader, we went from being in 9th ranking to winning regionals. This is my thrid year as captain." It was a little odd to listen to her explain that. Any other girl on her squad would be all peppy and jumpy about it, and sound incredibly vain. But it was as if Jen was telling a story, her voice calm and sounding so deeply enthralled with the memories. Daddy had been so proud of her the first time he saw her doing those things on stage.

Izual frowned in thought slightly and tilted his to the side, his long hair just creeping further down his thighs. "I fail to understand how the flexibility of your body helps those boys harrassing you earlier win more games. I assume that is what caused you to become 'winning regionals', correct?"
His eyes appeared to wander down her body slowly, right down to her thighs before beginning a lazy stroll back up to her face. It might have looked as if he was checking her out, but he was just trying to determine by sight how flexible and skilled she was.

Jen blushed as his eyes traveled up and down her body. Many men had checked her out before, but this seemed so much different. And she actually liked the fact that he was looking over her like this. She managed to clear her throat a little and answer him. "It's our job to cheer the guys on and make them feel more confident in themselves and the game. We also distract the other team. And a lot of people just come to football games to watch the cheerleaders." She smiled and giggled a little, still blushing.
"The regionals are a big cheerleading competition. It sort of like a sport. You need coordination with the entire team and be able to easily do things that not many can do." She tried to explain and found it a little hard. "You should come to practice with me tomorrow and see how it's done... that is if you wanna stick around here a little longer..."

"I see no problem with that." Izual said with a small smile. Tyrael looked up at the two and almost bounced on the bed.
"We can stay?!" He asked hopefully, his eyes pleading with Izual. The other half-demon chuckled at the look he was getting from his brother and nodded.
"We can. That is, if Jen lets us." Izual and Tyrael seemed to both turn their eyes on the girl at the same time, Tyrael giving his best begging look and Izual just leaning his head back and raising his eyebrows in expectance of her answer.

Jen seemed to just realize Tyrael was still there. She looked to him and gave a smile like she would to a child, then brought her gaze back to Izual. "Well... you two don't seem to have a place to stay and it would be quite... very.... I.... I would love for the two of you to stay." she told them with a smile and a nod.

It wasn't entirely true that they didn't have anywhere to go, but if they kept returning to the place where their mother was still in hiding, it could easily put her in grave danger. Tyrael threw his hands into the air in celebration when Jen gave her permission.
"YAY!" He cried out, not realising the medal in his hands had gone flying up into the air. Izual was just about to give his thanks to Jen when they both heard a loud CLUNK and Tyrael yelped in pain and gripped his head.

Jen blinked at the noise and looked as Tyrael gripped his head. She wanted to laugh and coddle him at the same time. With seemingly no effort, she casually grabbed the medal from the air before it hit the ground and stood. "Oh... honey.... it's okay..." she tried to calm Tyrael and immediately took him into her arms. It was a habit of babysitting. Yes, like any other teenage girl, Jen had a babysitting job when she was in her early teens. Luckily, none of her clients knew she was a hell demon. "Shhh..." she cooed softly to Tyrael.

Tyrael's black wings curled around both himself and Jen, the half-angel allowing himself to be held and comforted. He was whimpering quietly from the pain, resting his head against Jen's full bosom. Izual stood slowly and walked over to the two on the bed, pushing Tyrael's wings out of the way and reaching down to touch Tyrael's scalp where the medal had hit him.
Izual's hand glowed a gentle, light blue for a moment and he took his hand away. Tyrael looked up at his brother and smiled, sniffling quietly as he let go of Jen and hid his wings. In the next second, Tyrael was latched onto his brother like a child with seperation anxiety on the first day of school. Izual slowly brought a hand up to cover his face in annoyance at this, but he didn't even bother trying to pry his brother off him. Just yet, anyway...

Jen blushed a little as Tyrael burried his head against her chest. She would have yelled and pushed him off if he wasn't so childish. But she managed a smile and continued to coo to him softly, liking the way she was engulfed in his wings. Then she felt her heart speed up with Izual seemed to heal him, and giggled as he was clinged onto now.
Her eyes went to Izual's and she giggled once more, then stood to put the medal back before Tyrael hurt himself again. "That was pretty neat..." she said to the man with angelic powers. "I see your powers are mixed, though. The good with the bad and the bad with the good." Thinking this through, she came to look upon Tyrael. /Thank goodness he got the bad powers./ she thought to herself.

Izual narrowed his eyes at his brother, wishing he could convince his brother to use those powers every once in a while. "This idiot brother of mine is just lucky I'm in a good enough mood to bother taking away his pain." He crossed his arms, looking down at his twin as Tyrael looked up at him and pouted. "Oh, that's it. Off. Now." The half-demon commanded.
Tyrael slowly let go, sinking back to sit on the bed and looking for the hundredth time like a berated child. He just wanted to show he was grateful, so why did it annoy his brother so much? He still didn't understand.
Still with arms crossed, the dark half-demon returned to his seat on the couch, keeping an eye on Tyrael to make sure he didn't hurt himself again. Inside he was trying to figure out why Tyrael often seemed so desperate to hold onto him, it wasn't really quite as bad before their father was murdered but that didn't seem to be the only factor either. So alike, so different and so clueless about each other's thoughts, the two twins sat in silence.

Jen looked back and forth between the two, a bit confused. She never had sibling before. Izual seemed so uncaring toward Tyrael at times and the poor boy looked like he always took it to heart. But her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a call from downstairs about dinner being done. The girl smiled and walked to the door. "Supper time!" she happily told the two.

Tyrael was almost immediately at the door, looking at Jen and waiting for her to come and show him where to go. Izual pulled himself off the couch and stood up, brushing his clothes off as if they were dusty. He slowly walked to the door, but stood back to let Jen go first. He wasn't really very hungry, but this seemed like it would be almost more about the socialising of the occurance rather than the food.
Tyrael followed close behind as Jen led them down the stairs again, Izual a meter or two behind once again. Going downstairs was much more comfortable and far less tiring than going up, so Izual didn't fly this time. Besides, someone might see him when he reached the bottom of the stairs, then they'd no doubt start asking questions.
Tyrael held a hand on his flat stomach, whining as it groaned from lack of food. He usually ate a lot more than his brother, perhaps because he usually bounced about while his brother was so reserved. Looking at Jen, Tyrael decided to ask something.
"What are we having for supper?"
