The rich girls. The popular girls. The girls that everyone want to be like or date. Four of them rode in a red convertable, blasting the radio so loud that the vibrations were felt in the pavement. All of them were matching in attire, apparently coming from a school that you had to have security codes to get through the front gate. They had gone to that school for many years now, and this was their last. And for all that time... they had all been best friends. Two blondes, a bruenette, and a girl with strange pure white hair. All of them were images of the stereotypical popular girl.... but they weren't. They were a little weird, and so nice and kind. And... they were cheerleaders.
A blonde Kayce was driving with Rachel the brunette in the seat next to her. The other blonde known strangly as Ed was in the back with the most interesting one, Jen. Their things were in the back of the convertable and they had to drive quite slow, for the two girls in back wouldn't stop standing. "Sit down! We're going to get in trouble!" Rachel laughed, but wasn't very serious when she turned up the radio.
Finally, the convertable came to a stop and Ed sat down while Jen jumped out of the car without using the door. "Thanks for the ride, Boo." she told Kayce and the trunk was popped so she could grab out her duffle bag. After closing the trunk and saying goodbyes, the other three girls drove off with the radio still blasting.
Jen smiled at the fading music, now walking down the sidewalk. They always dropped her off a few blocks away from ehr house, ebcause that was the way she liked it. She lived on a sloping hill and actually enjoyed walking up it. Jen was a strange girl, and very burdened. Her long white pigtails tickled her pale cheeks and she flicked her head to get them out of the way. Those were her best friends.... yet they knew nothing about who she truely was.

The lavendar-eyed half-demon walked along the street, looking rather grumpy as he had one hand in his pocket and the other ready to grab his twin brother as soon as the idiot tried following someone else home. He'd already tried it about five times, and they were only going down to the shops to buy food.
A red car went driving past with loud music and Tyrael's crystal blue eyes instantly tracked them, watching the girls as two of them kept standing up in the back of the car. He giggled quietly to himself, looking over at his brother as if wondering if the sight had spurred the same reaction in him. Tyrael almost flinched as his brother glared at him, looking like a german shepherd about to bite someone's leg off. He kept forgetting that he and his brother didn't share the same personality.
They continued walking, Tyrael staring at the ground and pouting as though he'd been scolded for something that wasn't his fault. Soon Izual saw a girl walking towards them. It was one of the girls that had been in the car. Oh great... now he actually has a chance to try and talk to one of them... Izual thought to himself, sounding almost spiteful in his own mind. He hated it when Tyrael got too social, the stupid half-angel always ended up wanting to be best friends with someone and then as soon as they brushed him off even once, it was Izual that had to put up with his sulking.
"Hi!" Tyrael said, bouncing up to the girl and grinning like a sap as he stood directly in front of her. If he had a tail, it would no doubt be wagging happily about now. Izual looked up and groaned, rolling his eyes. Sure it had been his fault for getting distracted by his thoughts and allowing his brother to get closer to the girl, but Tyrael could at least try to control his weird-ass urges.
Slowly walking up behind his brother, Izual simply stood and looked at the girl, as if trying to warn her that his brother belonged in a mental institution. Tyrael's dazzling crystal eyes were shining hopefully as he had to stop himself from bouncing even a little.

Lost in her own dream world, jen didn't notice the two men. She would have run into Tyrael if he hadn't of introduced himself in an overly happy way. She slowly looked up, then flinched back and had to force herself not to hiss at him, taking a few steps back for space reasons. Then she looked to Izual and rose an eyebrow at the look he gave her. The girl almost wanted to pull out pepperspray just to look like an innocent girl and have a little pranking fun, but that would be mean. She didn't want to be mean.
"Good boy?" she tried to Tyrael, her own shining sapphire eyes making contact with his. Then she pulled them away to look to Izual, backing up a little more at this. "Is he okay...?" she almost whispered to the other man, getting a little freaked out from the overly peppy boy. She was a cheerleader and pep was her thing, but not that much.

At her odd question, Tyrael blinked, his apparent 'pep' seeming to fade in an instant. "Huh?" he asked, rather ungracefully. Izual shook his head at his moronic brother and at the girl's second question.
"No he's not, but thank you for your concern." The older of the twins replied. "Hey!" Tyrael looked at his brother, surprised Izual would say such a thing. He pouted, but realising that it wouldn't work on his brother, he directed the powerful expression towards the girl, giving her sad puppy eyes as well.
He never tried coming up with a come-back to anything his brother said, it always just ended up with him being laughed at. He could never bring himself to be as mean as his brother, and he didn't want to either. Besides, he knew Izual didn't mean any of it, when speaking of his brother at least.

At Izual's comment, Jen couldn't help but laugh. Then she went completely silent at the look Tyrael was giving her. Right then and there she melted. "Awww!" she said in a tone that couldn't possibly get any girlier. She began to move closer to the two, and then had another sudden mood shift at a novelty honk echoing down the road.
The girl quickly spun around and gave a low growl as a jeep barreled down the street and came to a screeching halt right by them. Two were in the jeep, both of them wearing the same colors as Jen and one wearing a letterman's jacket. He was in the passenger seat and his eyes were directly on the white-haired girl.
"Hey they, baby." he smirked and she glared.
"For the last time, I'm not your baby!" she snapped.
This only made the cocky teenager chuckle. "Oh come on my little Jenny bunny." Before she could snap back at him again, he looked to the two men beside Jen and gave a flat expression. "Hey, what's with the two girly losers? I thought I was your only guy. Come on, get in the car, babe."
When he reached out and grabbed her arm, it was the last straw. All those years of gymnastics payed off when she high-kicked him right in the face, forcing him to let go of her and cry out in pain. "I may be the one to cheer you on, but I am not your toy!" she yelled, then gave a catty smile. "And for your information... these two are my cousins." She looked to Tyrael and Izual with begging eyes for them to play along, then went back to the man in the jeep, his friend trying to calm him. "Let's go." she grinned to the two strangers beside her and turned to walk, but was stopped when the teen grabbed one of ehr long pigtails.
"You're not going anywhere!" he yelled and made her cry out by yanking on her hair.

Izual laughed maliciously as the girl kicked her apparent stalker in the head. It was highly amusing, to Izual at least. Tyrael had almost jumped behind his brother with fright at the sudden display of violence. It was, for once, Izual who stepped in to cease the violence when the male teenager grabbed the girls hair. His hand was on the boy's neck in a moment, lifting him into the air and gripping hard to force him to let go of Jen's hair due to pain.
Tyrael stood and watched, almost dumbstruck, both at what Izual was doing AND why. "Keep your hands off my cousin, or this 'girly loser' is going to snap your neck like kindling." It was no idle threat.
"Izual, I don't think-"
"That's right, Tyrael, don't think about it. In fact, don't watch, you might get scared." The half-demon hissed, his other hand coming up to grip the boy's neck as well.

The other jock was about to step on the gas, but his neck was grabbed also. Both of them were chocking and squirming as Jen watched with a grim grin. She ran her fingers through her overly long hair and watched at the one who had been horassing her's face turned different colors. She almost felt like cheering for this, but then realized what Izual was doing. He was a demon! Her jaw dropped for a moment, then she remembered her duties and cleared her throat, placing a hand on Izual's shoulder.
"You can let them down now. If these two are damaged, then we can't win the homecoming game." she said calmly as tears ran down the larger jock's cheeks.

Izual looked from Jen to Tyrael, as if asking his brother if he should bother caring about their 'homecoming game'. He decided to let the jocks go though, dropping the stalker to the ground with much less grace than he would usually treat his victims with.
Tyrael stepped around the choking and gasping teenager still on the ground and walked over to Jen, concern on his face. "You're not hurt, are you?" He asked, sounding almost pitiful, his voice at an oddly high pitch that made him sound female. He hated seeing his friends hurt, but oddly enough it was his demon-like brother who had the gift of healing hands.

"Yes..." Jen said in a gentle voice to Tyrael, then changed back to that morbid grin. She turned back to the jeep and the sight of the boys coughing and sputtering made her heart race. Oh god, how she loved this! She could feel an extreme heat around her body now and was about to go demon on them. But she couldn't. She had been keeping this secret from all of them for nearly her entire life now, so she couldn't blow it on her Senior year. Especially since she was the head cheerleader.
Calming down a little, she walked to the jeep and placed her hand on the door. Luckily, it was one of those flimsy things would any windows or a roof. The both of them were still too shocked to drive away. Gracefully, Jen caught the stalker's chin with her index finger and thumb, looking him straight in the eye as he wheezed. "See you at practice?" she said in a tauntingly casual voice.
Then his friend hit the gas, the two of them speeding away down the street. The wind from that blew back Jen's hair and made her skirt ruffle, giving Izual and Tyrael a glimpse of her firmly shaped butt. As they drove away, the smell of burning tires was in the air. This was from their skidding takeoff and a spark of Jen's powers. Then girl turned to Izual now and was forcing herself to resist throwing her arms around him. "Thank you..." she almost whispered.

"You're quite welcome." The half-demon almost drawled his speech. At least he'd been taught manners. Tyrael grinned and immedaitely gave into the urger to hug Jen, holding her close in case any more 'nasty teenage boys' came along and tried to hurt his new friend.
"Hey, what's your name?" The half-angel asked, sounding like a curious little child. Izual had his usual, unimpressed and grim expression on. He looked like nothing at all had just happened and he couldn't care less if the entire world exploded the next second.

Jen blushed as she was suddenly so tightly embraced. But she managed to wiggle free and take a few steps back, picking her dufflebag up off the ground. She flicked back her hair and set the bag to rest at her shoulder. "Before I tell you that..." she began and looked directly into Izual's eyes. "Is he a demon also?" she motioned her head to Tyrael. "No mere mortal could have done that with Todd and Dan so easily."

Tyrael pouted at the girl as she wriggled free, but didn't try to grab her again. He'd actually learnt that lesson the hard way, when one girl had accused him of trying to rape her. The police hadn't been too happy, to say the least. They'd suspected him of being drunk, but Tyrael had never touched a drop of alcohol in his life.
"Half." Izual said simply, sounding as uninterested as he looked. "And half Angel!" Tyrael said, perking up instantly and looking proud of the fact. Most of the time he didn't realise it was wrong for an Angel and Demon to even fornicate, never mind falling in love and having children. Of course, Tyrael was still too innocent to even realise that fornication was needed to reproduce.
Izual sighed as Tyrael so readily and freely gave information. It had taken a lot of effort on Izual's part to keep Tyrael quiet about his heritage during the investigation with the police. He'd eventually convinced them that Tyrael had a mental disability and they let him go, after giving them both a warning and making sure Izual could care for his brother properly.

The cute little cheerleader's nose snarled at Tyrael's words and she jumped back, getting low to the ground as if in defense and ready to pounce. Her chest was rising and falling quickly as she tried to comprehend how that was even possible, and once she did, she lost balance and fell back once her butt. She squeaked and became the image of cuteness once more, slowly getitng to her feet and taking deep breaths, her eyes closed. A bit of "Daddy" had kicked in for the moment.
"Wow.... I... uhhh.... wow..." that was all she could say, still trying to think things over. She could never imagine an angel and a demon... together. Maybe a demon and mortal... but never with a pure being! That was just unspeakable. She was in the state of becoming a full fledge demon now and just to think about that confused the hell out of her. Trying to think, she wringed her hands together, though stopped as she realized her nails had become long and sharp. She felt her teeth get that way too, and squeaked once more, slapping her hands over her mouth. Her mind running with thoughts, she collapsed to the ground on her knees.

"You're a demon, too, aren't you?" Izual raised an eyebrow and watched the girl curiously. Her initial reaction had been very interesting to him indeed. It had frightened his brother a little though, who had inched closer to Izual in preparation of hiding behind him in case of attack.
The girl had calmed though, and Tyrael decided she must've had a mood swing or something, like Izual did sometimes. Tyrael wanted to pick the girl up when she fell over, but he was a little unsure now of whether he should get too close or not. After all, he didn't want to get hurt, because then his brother would have to heal him, and that would just get Izual annoyed. Tyrael didn't like it when Izual was annoyed or angry, so he tried to keep his brother calm.

Jen's eyes were still closed tightly as she tried to calm herself. But her eyelids soon relaxed and her nails went back to their proper french tipped manicure. Her teeth were as normal as they could get and her breathing calmed as she counted backwards from ten in her mind. Finally, she got ahold of herself completely and stood, opening her eyes to look at the two boys. "I'm sorry... yes...." she said softly, looking over her hands to make sure they were back to normal.
Her eyes looked around to make sure no one had seen what had just happened to her, thinking it was something big when it was just a very minor thing. Then those crystal blue orbs looked over the two in front of her. Slowly, her hand came out. "Jennifer West... Jen..."
