Bree looked at Jen curiously. She had definately heard the word 'mortals' coming out of Jen's mouth. She considered Jen for a moment. She didn't seem to be human; not at all. How many humans have white hair as a teenager? She shook it off, prefering not to pry into her personal life. Bree looked up at Tyrael with a smile. "People can't always follow you to new places... In my case, that's a good thing." She said, calming down a little.

Jen gave a sad little smile to Bree, then yawned and felt herself slip back and forth between reality a she laid against Tyrael. "My friends couldn't follow me. They're set to this charter school until they graduate..." she mumbled her words a little, so tired and only talking to remain consciousness.

"I could go with you, I don't go to this school yet." Tyrael said comfortingly and pulled the demoness a little closer. "So Bree... why do you talk like that?" He looked up at the half-demon girl, curiosity abundant in his eyes. If the girl wasn't mortal, then what was she, exactly? Tyrael was just dying to know what she was.
The half-angel's brother, Izual, stalked over to Ed, Kayce and Rachel and sat down next to them without a word. He didn't look too impressed with things of late, as he'd just searched the entire school for Jen and only found her three best friends. "So ladies, how goes it?" The half-demon nearly purred his words.

"Huh?" It took Bree a few moments to figure out what it was that Tyrael was reffering to. "Oh... you mean the... echo..." Bree trailed off and stared at the grass in front of her. She would rather not answer that question. She didn't want to make more enemies... especially ones that looked like they could probably kill her if they hated her enough.

"Yeah, that..." Tyrael leant over a little and wrapped an arm around Bree's shoulder, pulling her close to his chest and sitting comfortably. This felt a little weird, but it was still quite comfortable. He had Jen cuddling up to him on one side and Bree on the other. "Why does your voice echo?"

Jen, regianing a little energy, looked to Bree and smiled. "Don't look like that, sweetie." she said softly. For a moment, she wanted to put her hand on Bree's shoulder, but she couldn't even feel her body attached to her head anymore. "Tell me, what kind of demon are you?" Normally, people laughed at the word demon, Demons weren't supposed to be around humans like this, or at least that was what the humans thought. But Jen was too tired to give a damn about openly accusing someone of being a demon.
Kayce looked up to Izual and suddenly went completely overdramatic. "WHYYYYYYYYY!? Why must you belong to Jen!?" she yelled up to the clouds, then broke down into fake sobs on the table, geting a questioning look from Rachel.
Ed stood and glared at Izual, looking straight into his lavender eyes. "What the fuck have you been doing to Jen!?" she demanded. "The girl's a wreck!"

Izual reached over and patted Kayce consolingly on the shoulder. "Who said I belong to anyone?" He whispered in the girl's ear. Ed started accusing him of something, so Izual calmly stared back at her. "I do believe you've already answered that question for yourself..." He said lazily, looking extremely bored right now. "Besides which, she had just as much to do with it as I did." He said in a very matter-of-fact way.

"I... I'm not..." Bree knew it was pointless trying to hide what she was. After all, it was pretty obvious. "I'm only half." She said. "Mother is a human... Father is... some kind of smoke based demon I suppose... I've only ever seen him once... when I was little... And he gave me this," She held her hand out to show the others the gold ring on her middle finger. "Mother said he wanted it to be my birthday present... the only one I've ever gotten from him..." She added.

Tyrael smiled encouragingly at the half-demon girl. "I'm half-demon too, so is my twin brother. Our dad was some sort of... actually, I really have no idea what he was, but I know he was the demon." He hoped that would help. Surely if the girl had someone she could relate to, then she'd feel more comfortable. Izual had already warned him multiple times not to tell people that they were half-angel, because it would upset people more than telling them he was half-demon.

Kayce's eyes grew wide as she heard the words, then she quickly sat up, shooting a death glare to Izual. "What did you mean by that?" she growled. Ed turned to look at Kayce, not having heard what the man whispered into her friend's ear.
Jen smiled at the ring on Bree's finger. Then she looked wearily down at her own hand and saw a very similiar gold ring, blue jens in the gilded circle. "My Daddy ave me a ring too." she said softly and managed to lift her hand a little to show Bree. "But I think it was for a different reason..." she sighed, and her hand dropped back down. Every time she wore the ring, she felt a lot more powerful than normal, and more in control.

"What's your problem?" Izual asked Kayce, countering with a mild glare of his own. His death-glares were saved for special occasions, when he really meant it. He wasn't going to waste time on some mortal wench.
Tyrael felt a little left out now, he actually pouted at Bree and Jen. "My father never gave me anything to remember him by, but that's probably because he never thought it would be needed..." It was hard for him to speak of such things, the innocence in his voice was tainted with heartache while he spoke of his father.

Kayce walked around the table and came over to him, grabbing his shirt. "You treat that girl right. If you touch another woman, you'll have the end of a gun to deal with." she hissed, and before he could do antyhing, let go of his shirt and turned on one foot. The girl walked off, motioning for Rachel to come with her as Ed just stood there confused. The other two girls were gone, then Ed sighed.

"Well that was pleasant. I must say, her conversational skills are astounding." Izual said with a smirk, lazily considering Ed. If there was one thing that really got him going, it was pissing people off, especially when they had no chance of ever harming him at all. For a moment, Izual wondered if that idiot football player was around, he'd be fun to torment.

Ed sighed and plopped back down on top of the table, crossing one leg over the other. "She really does love you..." she said softly to Izual, and actually looked like she had romantic feelings for a moment. "I've never seen her happier..."

Bree looked up at Tyrael's sad expression. She smiled. "Don't be sad. You don't need an object to remember anyone by. As long as you keep them in your heart, you will remember them." She looked down at her hand and slipped the ring of her finger. The words La Vaxus Were ingraved on the inside of the band. "La Vaxus... I never found out what those words meant."
