Name: Loch Swans
Nick Name: Loch
Race: Vampire
Age: 68
Gender: Male
Eyes: Red
Hair: Long raven black.
Weakness: Because sunlight cannot harm him, the vampire has another weakness. Fire. The oils which protect him from the sun ironically is highly flamable.
Wear: Loch was always fold to black and red. The combination of the two had a certain power in them. Death and blood, night and fire, evil and love. The vampire enjoys the feel of silk and leather, thus his apparel is make of both of these. Loch usually wears a long black cloak, which drags like a snake when walking, and flies like a bat when running.
The vampire wears items of beauty and wealth, such as gold, silver and jewels. The priceless metal and gems are found on his arms and fingers, clinging to their master.
History: The son of a rich human merchant, the boy names Loch Swan visited places all across the land, meeting races both human and inhuman. It was just him and his father, Marcus Swans. The two never stayed in one place though, so making friends was almost impossible.
The child learned to ignore the loneliness and accept his life as it was. Fast pace, always moving, make lots of money. By the time he was fifteen, Loch was not only a son, but a partner. He knew how to haggle, bargain, and to cheat. This made life more dangerous, and more fun. The boy learned how to con, and soon enough was selling demons mere pebbles, saying they had powers greater then the world had ever know.
When Loch was 23, he had mastered the art of conning. The money seemed to crawl into their pockets, town after town of selling, conning, and cheating. The clothes on their back became for and more elegant. The two ate in the finest of taverns and restaurants, dining on the most expensive thing the menu had to offer. This of course came with a price. All those demons who had been cheated did not like the fact they had been outsmarted by a human boy. The enemies of the Swans' began to multiply over time, but not one of the demons did a thing. Then one day, Loch cheated the wrong person.
A sinister bony figure by the name of Gordon Blackwidth was convinced that a necklace made of bits of string had the power of the God Forli, fire manipulation. Of course it was not real, Blackwidth was furious, and it would seem the Swans got away. Too bad for them the man they had cheated was not mortal, but a vampire.
After eating a large meal together, Marcus and Loch walked from the restaurant with loose belts and wide smiles. They slept in a local tavern, both to never wake up alive.
When Loch opened his eyes, he felt wetness on his sheets. In a fury, he tried to sit up and call the owner of the tavern to complain about leaky roofs. They had paid good money for this room. To his surprise, Loch could not force himself up. In fact, he could hardly move at all, not even make a whisper. It was then he noticed that his sheets were red, and that his neck ached like hell. Then he looked up.
A bony figure stood at the foot of the bed, the drained carcass of Marcus Swans in his arms. Anger and fear throbbed in Lochs head and chest. His father was dead. What he could not figure out was why he was still alive. Then the specter spoke.
"You have stolen from my purse, so I have stolen from your bloodlines."
There was mockery in the monster voice, and a pasty smile chiseled into his mouth.
"But I am a forgiving man, Mr. Swans. I will not take your life as well. If fact, I have done the opposite. Yes Mr. Swans, you are immortal, my fledgling. Don't try and get up to thank me, you will not be able to move for at least a day or two. By that time I will be gone from this place, far from this place. So do not try to follow me. I am a very old vampire Mr. Swans, I know how to avoid people."
He walked to the window, dropping the body on the floor. Loch cringed at the abnormally light sound it made, like dropping a paper ball on the floor.
"If we ever meet again it will be by my will. Good bye, and good luck."
With that, Gordon Blackwidth opened the latch and stepped out into the night.
It was two days later that Loch Swans could move again. He was furious, thirsty and lost. His new senses, new strengths, and new powers made the simple task of opening a door a great task. His first night was a bloody one. He devoured half the town before anyone knew what was happening. Loch was just finishing up drinking from the young neck of Lacy Bornule when her father saw the scene and cried for help. Loch Swans was driven from the town with the scarlet fluid of human blood following him.
The vampire wandered from town to town (only attacking the human settlements), drinking all he could before anyone noticed. Though he could not stay long, people in these country towns were close, and murder was almost immediately reacted with a mob of humans at his heals. Then he found the City del Inierno.
Because the it was so big and crime was always taking place, he could feed and kill without much disturbance, though by the time he found this city his blood thirst was not as strong. In fact, he was 57 years old, looking not a day over 23.
He began to learn the ways of the populated area and adapted well. Loch once again rebuilding his wealth (leaving all his riches behind after his turning. Had he been thinking clearly, he would have taken his money with him. Sadly the most important thing to him was the blood). The vampire would make his cash through assassinations and mercenary work. Along the road of killing for cash, Loch bought a short blade made of silver steel, perfect for his job description.
Now, Loch Swans main priority is wealth and living with style, though blood is right up there too.
Powers: He has all the powers of a vampire. Stregth, speed, charm, immortality, and some psychic (very weak mind you) powers. Loch is immune to sunlight (that ok Strike?), so he is not limited to his feeding hours.
